August 17, 2011The Public Security Ministry of the People's Republic of China has agreed to provide the Grant of 6 million Yuan in the form of police equipments to the government of Nepal.
The main objective of this assistance is to support and enhance the capacity of Police forces of Nepal. The details of quipment items will be specified and forwarded to the concerned authorities of PRC subsequently .
Mr. Leela Mani Paudyal, Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, signed a Letter of Exchange on behalf of the Government of Nepal and Mr. Meng Hongwei, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Public Security signed on behalf of Government of the People's Republic of China,.
The Government of Nepal highly appreciates the Government of the People's Republic of China for their continued support to enhance the capacity of internal security organizations of Nepal.
